GDPR Information

This page explains how KalmBaby approaches GDPR requests and privacy rights for users in the European Union, the European Economic Area and other places with similar privacy rights.

1. Data controller

KalmBaby is provided by Annasoft. For personal data processed through the KalmBaby app and kalmbaby.net website, KalmBaby / Annasoft acts as the data controller unless a third-party service is independently responsible for its own processing.

2. Your GDPR rights

When the GDPR applies, you may have the following rights. These rights are not always absolute, because legal obligations, security requirements or other lawful reasons may apply.

Access You can ask whether we process your personal data and request a copy of relevant data.
Rectification You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Erasure You can ask us to delete personal data where deletion is legally required or appropriate.
Restriction You can ask us to limit processing in certain circumstances.
Portability You can ask for certain data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
Objection You can object to processing based on legitimate interests in certain circumstances.
Withdraw consent Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent. For example, you can disable microphone permission in your device settings.
Complaint You can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Romania, this is ANSPDCP.

3. How to submit a GDPR request

  1. Email contact@annasoft.dev.
  2. Use the subject line: GDPR Request.
  3. Tell us which right you want to exercise.
  4. Use the email address linked to your KalmBaby account, if possible.
  5. Do not send sensitive documents unless we specifically ask for them.

We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. This protects your account and prevents someone else from accessing or deleting your data.

4. Response time

We aim to respond to GDPR requests within one month. If a request is complex or we receive multiple requests from the same person, the response period may be extended where allowed by law. If we need more time, we will let you know.

5. Data we usually need to check

To handle a privacy request, we may need to check data such as:

  • Your KalmBaby account email address.
  • Your social sign-in provider and provider user ID, if you used Google or Apple login.
  • Your subscription entitlement status and purchase-related identifiers.
  • Your free usage counters, if relevant.
  • Support messages you previously sent to us.

6. Data stored locally on your phone

Some KalmBaby information is stored locally on your device, such as selected sound, selected vibration, session preferences, screen mode and other app settings. You can remove local data by using device-level app storage controls or uninstalling the app.

7. Microphone and Monitor AI permissions

Crying detection needs microphone permission. You can allow or deny this permission in your phone settings. If you withdraw microphone permission, normal audio and vibration sessions may still work, but crying detection will not work.

Movement detection depends on device sensor information and phone placement. It should be used as a convenience feature, not as a safety monitoring system.

8. Third-party processors and independent services

KalmBaby may use processors and platform providers to provide the app. For example, RevenueCat may process subscription entitlement data as a processor, while Google and Apple may also process information under their own privacy terms for platform services, sign-in and app store purchases.

9. Romanian supervisory authority

If you are in Romania or your complaint is connected to Romania, you may contact the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing, known as ANSPDCP.

10. Website cookies

The kalmbaby.net website included in this package is static and does not use cookies or analytics trackers. If analytics, advertising pixels, embedded videos, chat widgets or other third-party scripts are added later, this page and the Privacy Policy should be updated before publication.

11. Updates

We may update this GDPR page when the app, website, processing activities, providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
